How every programme is designed
Each programme begins with the specific decisions a participant needs to make better at work, then builds the curriculum to address those decisions directly. This means the case material is drawn from documents and contexts familiar to people working in Johor-based companies, and the assessment tasks are grounded in the actual work — not artificial scenarios constructed for examination purposes.
Assessment criteria, preparation expectations, cohort sizes, and scope limitations are all published before enrolment. The aim is that a prospective participant can read the programme description, compare it to what they need, and make an informed decision — without needing to contact us first to understand the basics.
Quality standard
Post-cohort reviews are conducted after every programme. Changes made to the following cohort are documented and shared on request.
Typical programme timeline
Management Accounting for Non-Specialists
Introduces the numbers a manager is asked to explain: cost behaviour, contribution and break-even, budgeting and variance analysis, working capital cycles, and reading a management pack critically. Sessions combine short teaching with worked spreadsheet exercises and discussion of anonymised company cases. Assumes no accounting background but assumes comfort with a spreadsheet.
- Cost behaviour: fixed, variable, semi-variable
- Contribution analysis and break-even
- Budget preparation and variance analysis
- Working capital: debtors, creditors, stock cycles
- Reading and challenging a management pack
One variance analysis (50%) and one written commentary on a management pack (50%). Both tasks are described and rubrics shared at enrolment. Management reporting practice only — does not address statutory reporting or taxation.
Case pack, spreadsheet templates, and recorded sessions available for six months after the programme ends.
Operations and Supply Chain Diploma Track
A structured track for staff responsible for production, procurement, or distribution. Modules cover demand planning, inventory policy under uncertainty, supplier selection and relationship management, quality systems, warehouse and transport economics, and continuous improvement practice. Teaching is case-based with three site visits to host companies in Johor. Entry assumes at least two years in an operating role.
- Demand planning and forecasting under uncertainty
- Inventory policy: safety stock, reorder points, EOQ
- Supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management
- Quality systems: SPC, PDCA, root cause methods
- Warehouse layout, transport mode selection, cost modelling
- Continuous improvement frameworks and measurement
Participants complete a workplace improvement project documented to a published rubric and presented to a faculty panel. Four individual coaching sessions (one per six-week block) are included to review project progress. Document of completion lists modules, contact hours, and assessment outcomes.
At least two years in an operating role (production, procurement, warehousing, logistics, or distribution). Participants without operational background should enquire about the management accounting course first.
Executive Working Group Programme
For the leadership team of a single company. Combines taught modules with facilitated working sessions on the company's own operating decisions. Starts with a diagnostic review of operating processes and management reporting conducted with the team. Facilitation addresses process, structure, and internal practice only — financial, legal, taxation, and other regulated matters are outside scope and referred to appropriately qualified advisers.
- Diagnostic review of operating processes and management reporting
- 60 hours of teaching: strategy execution, operations, organisational design
- Monthly facilitated sessions on live operational questions
- Quarterly written reviews of progress and decisions
- Written operating handbook the company retains
- Closing session with board or ownership group
Facilitation covers operating process, management reporting, team structure, and internal practice. Financial advisory, legal advice, taxation, and other regulated professional services are outside scope and will be referred to appropriately qualified advisers.

Shared across all programmes
Technical and professional standards
Confidentiality of company materials
Workplace project documents, case materials shared in sessions, and executive programme working notes are held in confidence. Case packs use anonymised data throughout.
Written programme agreements
Each participant receives a written programme outline covering scope, schedule, assessment, preparation requirements, and what is included in the programme fee before committing.
Scope referred, not stretched
Questions that fall outside programme scope — tax treatment, legal structure, statutory compliance — are referred to appropriately qualified advisers rather than addressed by faculty outside their area.
Post-cohort programme review
Each cohort ends with a structured review. Changes made to the next cohort based on feedback are documented. Summary of changes available on request.
Preparation as a participation condition
Expected preparation hours are stated at enrolment. Session discussion is structured around that preparation — participants who arrive unprepared affect the session quality for the cohort.
Document of completion, not a certificate
Diploma track participants receive a document listing modules, contact hours, and assessment outcomes — not a single-line certificate. This is designed to provide a prospective employer with specific information about what was covered.
